Throughout his career, Tyler Garrard has been immersed in the workings of high-performance engines everything from two-stroke racing engines to flexible-fuel SULEV engines developed for hybrid vehicle applications.
He has done extensive testing work on automotive electronic fuel injection and data acquisition systems, and also co-developed several advanced proof-of-concept vehicles and powertrain dynamometers for DARPA, GM Advanced Vehicles, and Visteon.
Mr. Garrard holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, with emphasis in advanced automotive powertrains and combustion engine design, from the University of California Davis.
