O. John Coletti

John Coletti brings more than 36 years of automotive industry experience to his role as president and COO of EcoMotors. His 33-year career at the Ford Motor Company spanned a range of engineering and management positions, including leadership of Ford's high-performance vehicle programs.

Central to his automotive engineering philosophy is a passion for power density and specific output. From early on, his automotive life has been marked by achievements that reflect this fascination, including the conception and realization of some of the most potent and celebrated performance cars in American history.

He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University, and a Masters degree in business administration from Michigan State University.

Career highlights:

• Head of Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) planning at Ford.
• Skunkworks team leader for the 1994 Ford Mustang.
• Programs Director, Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT), responsible for such vehicles as:
